What makes a frame is the picture within it. The frame may be made with gold and bejeweled with the finest stones, but the picture makes it. Experienced photographers love to talk about the development process. The time and effort it takes to develop a shot gives them pride and joy. Being shot, developed then crowned with a frame that is worthy of you is something that we must esteem.
In society, we are taught “beauty is skin deep”, and that is true. This generation has embraced this saying, but, somewhere in us, we still believe that beauty is endowed and we either have or we don’t.
However, beauty is not something you just have-you develop it. “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMPC. And when is that time? When I am old, I hope that’s when I feel the most beautiful. To understand that you are a gift that is still being unwrapped is so important to our journey in life. You may feel beautiful now, but there is so much more to be discovered within you. And hopefully you and I take the time to do so.
